Autographs from characters are always free. The secret to this added magic is to always ask nicely. Cast Members at the gift shops also have a special phone number they can call to arrange a phone message from a character right there in the shop. Upon request, they can set up a special birthday phone call from a Disney Character. If you’re staying at a Disney Resort, inform the front desk Cast Member that you or someone in your party is celebrating a birthday. Seeing “Happy Birthday” written in several different languages is really cool and a fun way to remember how you spent the day. They’ll also just sign a card or photo frame if you ask nicely. If you tell the Cast Member you’re celebrating a birthday, or someone in your party is wearing a birthday button, you’ll get a special foreign language birthday greeting in your passport book or Kidcot coloring sheet. If you’re celebrating your birthday at Epcot, visit the Kidcot stations around each of the 11 counties. This isn’t a birthday exclusive, but is extra fun for a little birthday magic! Epcot Passport While there is no age limit (hey, we’re all a kid at heart), they won’t sprinkle sparkles on anyone under 3 years old. Stop by the entrance at Magic Kingdom or Disney Springs where a Cast Member will happily sprinkle you with pixie dust, free of charge. ![]() You don’t have to schedule an appointment at the Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique to feel like a princess. Sometimes they can add in a special Magic Shot as well. Be sure to also mention to any photographer that it’s your birthday. There is another studio located in Disney Springs too. They’ll scan them right to your MyDisneyExperienceApp. If you have PhotoPass, they will take as many photos as your heart desires. If you can’t find it there, stop by the photography studio located in the gift shop near the Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique. Sometimes, on Main Street in Magic Kingdom, they have a big “Happy Birthday” photo prop. Special Birthday Photo Props & Magic Shots Make sure to wear a “birthday button” so he’ll know about the special occasion. Grab a picture with Mickey Mouse for another fun and free way to celebrate a birthday at Disney World. If you’re spending your birthday at Magic Kingdom, make sure you stop by Town Hall. This can be redeemed at the Disney Springs location. Sign up for Starbucks Rewards and you’ll be able to receive a free drink on your birthday. This birthday perk is loaded the Wednesday before your birthday and you have 30 days to redeem so be sure to plan in advanced. Before you arrive at Disney, make sure to sign up for Sprinkles Perks and you’ll be eligible to receive a FREE birthday Sprinkles Cupcake at the Disney Springs location.
